Built exclusively for fan driving. Note the absence of a governor wheel, the attached fan serves that purpose. construction features
- The two types differed in their working pressures, (HS-1) was built for 125lbs, (HS-2) for up to 70lb.
- The cylinder and valve chest were cast together and in some sizes bolted directly to the frame of the engine while in other sizes a single casting included the frame, cylinder and valve chest.The valves were flat, double-ported types, some of the larger engines used piston valves.
