SIZES - HS-1 (8)(6X6 to 12X24), HS-2 (3)(8X12 to 12x12)
WEIGHT - 1750 to 12700LBS

Construction Features:

The two types differed in their working pressures, (HS-1) was built for 125lbs, (HS-2) for up to 70lb.

The cylinder and valve chest were cast together and in some sizes bolted directly to the frame of the engine while in other sizes a single casting included the frame, cylinder and valve chest.The valves were flat, double-ported types, some of the larger engines used piston valves.
