Overview:
The yard usage covered a wide spectrum,
from material and finished product storage, a dust lab in earlier
years and as a nexus of truck and freight train movement. The dust
lab was located diagonally across from the powerhouse and was used
by Sturtevant engineers to research the effects of dust particles
on fan erosion.
